SECTION 120:10-15-12. Maintenance Provision

- (a) Signage shall be constructed of materials that can be easily maintained and do not weather quickly. All approved signs must be properly maintained. Whenever a sign becomes dilapidated or falls into a state of disrepair or ruin, in whole or in part, all portions of the sign shall be removed from the premises.(b) Whenever a sign is determined to be insecure, unsafe, dilapidated, or is in any way maintained in violation of the provisions of this Subchapter or the zoning district regulations, the Commission will send written notification of such findings to the owner. The owner shall have 10 days from the date of the written notice to bring the sign into conformance or remove the sign. If the owner does not comply within 10 days, the Commission will issue a citation for non-compliance in accordance with the procedures in Title 73, §83.13.
