SECTION 140:25-1-2. Definitions

- The following words and terms, when used in this Chapter, shall have the following meaning, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:"Accredited chiropractic college" or "college" means a chiropractic educational institution which:(A) is accredited by the Commission of Accreditation of the Council on Chiropractic Education, a national, independent accreditation body recognized and approved by the U.S. Department of Education; and(B) participates in the program."Act" means the Oklahoma Chiropractic Practice Act, 59 O.S. §§ 161.1, et seq.."Board" means the Board of Chiropractic Examiners."Chiropractic physician" or "licensee" means a person who holds an original license to practice chiropractic in this state."Experience" or "practicum education experience" means the specific education program developed for an intern under the on-site supervision of a preceptor."Intern" means a student at an accredited chiropractic college who participates in the program."Preceptor" means a chiropractic physician who participates in the program and provides on-site supervision and evaluation of an intern in a clinical setting for hands-on training."Program" means the Chiropractic Undergraduate Preceptorship Program.
