SECTION 150:1-17-6. Emergency rules

Should the Department find that the eminent peril of the public health, safety, or welfare requires immediate adoption of a rule, the Department may adopt emergency rule(s) without adherence to the above rules concerning notice and hearing. All emergency rules must be adopted pursuant to the Administrative Procedures Act and shall be effective in accordance with the Act.
