SECTION 150:1-3-2. Local economic development assistance

The Department of Commerce shall have the power to aid communities, firms, and farms in economic development and planning activities through data base development, informational analysis, incentives, technical assistance, funding and creation of entities on a local or regional basis within the state in order to make local economic development efforts more effective.
