SECTION 160:10-9-1. Record retention

- (a) A lessor shall retain evidence of compliance with the requirements imposed by this chapter for a period of not less than two years after the date the disclosures are required to be made or an action is required to be taken.(b) Each lessor shall, when directed by the Department, permit that authority or its duly authorized representative to inspect its relevant records and evidence of compliance with this chapter.
