SECTION 165:25-8-29. Attendants at marinas

- (a) Marinas may have an attendant or supervisor on duty when the marina is open for business. The attendant's primary function will be to supervise, observe, and control the dispensing of fuels to ensure that all safety requirements are met, and to ensure that the waters of the state are not contaminated by fuel.(b) At unattended marine facilities an emergency shut off device must be installed to meet the following requirements:(1) Installed between 20 to 100 feet from the fuel dispensing devices that they serve;(2) Device must shut down the fuel dispensing system in the event of an emergency;(3) Must be readily accessible to patrons; and(4) Emergency instructions must be conspicuously posted.
