I, J. Kevin Stitt, Governor of the State of Oklahoma, hereby direct the appropriate steps be taken to fly all American and Oklahoma flags on State property at half-staff from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2020, to honor the life and service of former state lawmaker Linda Jane Larason, who passed away April 11, 2020. Mrs. Larason honorably served Oklahoma House District 88 from 1985 - 1995, and among her many personal and professional accomplishments, she will be remembered for her love of public education. After her service to Oklahoma House District 88, Mrs. Larason served in the nonprofit industry and was always committed to improving the lives of vulnerable women, children and families. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Timothy Larason, their daughter, Amber Larason Niblett and two granddaughters, Maddie and Katie. Mrs. Larason was preceded in death by her son John Todd Larason. This executive order shall be forwarded to the Division of Capital Assets Management, who shall cause the provisions of this order to be implemented by all appropriate agencies of state government.
