- (a) If a career technology education program at the Technology Center is considered to be an appropriate part of the student's IEP, a representative of the Technology Center shall be on the IEP team. The instructor of the career technology program shall have access to a copy of the IEP before the student with a disability enters the career technology program.(b) The sending school shall work with the Technology Center to assure that an annual assessment is conducted to determine occupational needs, interests, and abilities of potential Technology Center students.(c) The sending school guidance program shall complement and coordinate with those services available in the Technology Center for counseling, assessment, staff consulting, educational and occupational planning, and follow-up activities.
