SECTION 210:40-75-3. Overview
Latest version.
- The program is designed to foster an early partnership between home and school so that parents take a far more active role during their children's formal years of schooling. Other intended benefits of the program include:(1) positive parental attitudes toward the school district;(2) early identification of learning, sensory (hearing and vision), or developmental problems interfering with learning; and(3) reduction in the need for expensive remediation and special education programs.
