SECTION 218:1-1-11. Powers and duties of the Executive Director

- The Executive Director of the OEQA shall have the following powers and duties, which shall include, but not necessarily be limited to:(1) Acting as the chief administrative officer for purposes of carrying out the Commission's statutory authority:(2) Establishing and maintaining a central repository on information regarding availability, acquisition and disposition of all federal funds, state appropriations, and other grants related to the assessment of teachers and administrators and approval of teacher education programs;(3) Establishing and maintaining a central repository for all duly adopted rules and regulations, minutes, and reports;(4) Acting as an agent for the Commission in all matters relating to educational quality and accountability as delineated by the commission's statutory authority;(5) Employing, demoting, or dismissing personnel and making specific assignments of duties for positions and at rates of compensation approved by the Commission to the extent that funds are available.
