SECTION 230:25-13-2. Candidate names rotated on regular ballots for Primary and Runoff Primary Elections only

- The names of candidates for all partisan offices on regular ballots for Primary and Runoff Primary Elections shall, to the extent practicable, be rotated so that each candidate's name in each partisan race shall appear in each position an equal number of times. [26:6-109] Rotation of candidate names shall be accomplished by the election programming software. If any adjustment to the rotation created by the software is needed, it shall be performed only by the State Election Board staff.(b) The names of candidates for judicial, school, and nonpartisan municipal offices shall be placed on the ballot by lot and shall not be rotated.
