SECTION 230:45-7-13. New election possible

- (a) Judge must notify Secretary. In the event the presiding District Judge determines that it is impossible to determine the winner of an election, or the names that should appear on a Runoff Primary Election ballot, he shall notify the Secretary of the County Election Board. [26:8-122](b) Secretary to notify Governor. When the Secretary receives a notice from the presiding District Judge, as set forth in (a), he shall notify the Governor of the ruling in order that the Governor can call a new election. [26:8-122]
