SECTION 252:110-9-5. Provisional accreditation

- (a) Provisional approval for training courses. When the restrictions of time or circumstances do not allow final approval of a course, the Department may grant a provisional approval that is:(1) Based on the Department's determination that the information, materials and qualifications of the training manager and instructors provided in the application appear to meet the requirements of this Chapter;(2) Contingent upon the applicant program giving notice of the date(s) on which the course is to commence; and(3) Conditioned on at least one Department on-site evaluation of the course, instructor(s) and program management.(4) A provisional approval shall be valid for no more than 12 months unless extended by the Department for cause for a period not to exceed six (6) months.(b) Conditions. The Department may establish conditions in the provisional approval, including compliance schedules.
