- If approved methodologies do not specify minimum laboratory QA/QC requirements for organic chemistry, the following frequencies shall apply, provided that where possible, surrogates shall be used for all samples:(1) A minimum of three concentrations of standards for daily calibration plus one continuing calibration check standard after each ten samples tested inside established control limits; if any analytes are outside the limits, repeat all samples tested after the last acceptable continuing calibration check.(2) One reagent blank (carried through preparation) per twenty samples tested (or per batch).(3) One matrix spike per twenty samples tested (or per batch).(4) One matrix spike duplicate per twenty samples tested (or per batch).
