SECTION 252:410-11-33. Filters

- (1) the filters cannot be accidentally displaced at any possible tube orientation;(2) for post-1989 generation equipment, an interlock system prevents irradiation if the proper filter is not in place;(3) the radiation at 5 centimeters from the filter insertion slot opening does not exceed 30 Roentgens per hour under any operating condition; and(4) each filter is marked as to its material of construction and its thickness. For wedge filters, the wedge angle shall appear on the wedge or wedge tray.
