Part 3. STATE EMPLOYEE DEBRIEFING AND COUNSELING SERVICES |
SECTION 260:25-21-10. Purpose and scope

- (a) The purpose of the rules in this part is to implement the provisions of Section 840-2.10a of the Oklahoma Personnel Act which pertains to debriefing and counseling services provided to employees who are affected by violent or traumatic events that occur in the workplace of the following agencies:(1) The Department of Human Services;(2) The Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse;(3) The Department of Corrections;(4) The Department of Transportation; and(5) The Office of Juvenile Affairs.(b) The agencies identified in (a) shall provide or contract to provide debriefing and counseling services to its employees who are affected by violent or traumatic events that occur in the workplace.(c) At the discretion of the Appointing Authority, an agency may provide counseling services to household/family members of the affected employee.
