SECTION 260:90-9-3. Violations; criminal penalties

- (a) Any person convicted of violating any provision of the Alternative Fuels Technician Certification Act shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.(b) The continued violation of any provision of the Alternative Fuels Technician Certification Act during each day shall be deemed to be a separate offense.(c) Upon conviction thereof the person shall be punished by imprisonment in the county jail not to exceed one (1) year, or by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by both such fine and imprisonment for each offense.(d) If the Board makes a determination of a violation, it may request the appropriate district attorney to prosecute such violation and seek an injunction against such practice.
