SECTION 310:641-11-9. Specialty care ground vehicles

Specialty care ground vehicles shall conform to310:641-3-20, except for specifications of medical and extrication equipment required for ground ambulance vehicles. If a specialty care service has the need to utilize a vehicle for ground ambulance other than the310:641-3-20 compliant vehicle, a written waiver may be granted upon request with the application. A determination for this exception shall be made by the Department.
