SECTION 310:661-5-1. Admission

Latest version.

(a)   Admission to a hospice shall be in accord with the Act.
(b)   Hospice services shall be available twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
(c)   A hospice program shall not impose the dictates of any value or belief system on its patients and their families.
(d)   A hospice shall coordinate its service with those of the patient's primary or attending physician, all hospice caregivers, and nursing facility staff if a patient resides in a nursing facility.
(e)   The hospice team shall be responsible for coordination and continuity between inpatient and home care aspects of care.
