SECTION 310:661-5-3. Quality assurance

(a)   The hospice shall develop, maintain, and conduct a comprehensive quality assurance program that includes an evaluation of services, quarterly clinical record audits, and organizational review.
(b)   The hospice shall ensure that appropriate and quality care is provided to include inpatient care, home care, and care provided under arrangements.
(c)   The quality assurance program shall be reviewed at least one (1) time each year. Policies and procedures shall be revised as needed, reviewed, and approved annually. Goals shall be established and problems identified with documented results.
