SECTION 310:677-17-1. Deemed to meet state certification requirements

- (a) The Department shall deem a certified residential care aide to meet the adult day care program aides certification requirements after successful completion of at least sixteen (16) hours of training specific to the facility population.(b) The Department shall deem a certified long term care aide, a certified home care aide or a certified ICF/IID care aide who has at least sixteen (16) hours of training specific to the residential care population to meet the requirements for a certified residential care aide. Documentation of the sixteen (16) hours of training shall be submitted to the Department and the certified nurse aide will be listed on the registry as a certified residential care aide.
