SECTION 317:30-5-211.9. Adaptive equipment

- (a) Residents of ICF/IID facilities. Payment is made for customized adaptive equipment for persons residing in private Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities (ICF/IID). This means customized equipment or devices to assist in ambulation. Standard wheelchairs, walkers, eyeglasses, etc., would not be considered customized adaptive equipment. All customized adaptive equipment must be prescribed by a physician and requires prior authorization.(b) Members in home and community-based waivers. Refer to OAC 317:40-5-100.
