SECTION 330:50-21-1. Introduction

- OHFA is responsible to ensure that the rents charrged by owners are reasonable based upon objective comparables in the rental market. When OHFA has determined that the unit meets the minimum HQS, that the lease is approvable, and that the rent is reasonable, it will make timely payments to the owner and notify the owner of the procedures for rent adjustments in the Certificate and Voucher programs. Subchapter 21 explains OHFA's procedures for determination of rent-reasonableness, payments to owners, adjustments to the Payment Standards, and rent adjustments.
