SECTION 35:15-12-8. Participating organization eligibility

- (a) A participating organization may apply for a grant of funds to perform pet sterilization procedures.(b) A participating organization shall submit a detailed written grant application that shall include but is not limited to:(1) Name, address, and telephone number of the participating organization;(2) Title and name of person representing the participating organization;(3) Detailed description of the proposed use of the grant funds, including but not limited to:(A) The participating organization's method for determining owner eligibility for sterilization procedures;(B) The participating organization's proposed method for providing pet sterilization services to eligible owners; and(C) The term of the grant request, but in no case shall the grant term exceed one year.(4) Amount of grant funds requested; and(5) Signature of authorized person.(c) The advisory committee shall review each grant application submitted by a participating organization and make recommendations for approval or disapproval to the Department.
