SECTION 35:15-17-73. Brucellosis requirements for entry of cattle and bison into Oklahoma

- (a) All cattle and bison shall have a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection prior to entry. Test eligible cattle and bison from states or areas not classified as "Brucellosis free" shall have a permit in addition to a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection prior to entry. All test eligible cattle and bison from states or areas not classified as "Brucellosis free" shall test negative within thirty (30) days prior to entry and shall be quarantined and retested at owner's expense not less than fort-five (45) nor more than one hundred twenty (120) days after entry.(b) All brucellosis agglutination blood tests associated with the importation of animals into Oklahoma, shall be conducted or confirmed at a state or federal laboratory.
