Chapter 20. Leasing Seized or Surrendered Weapons and Vehicles |
SECTION 375:20-1-2. Definitions

- The following words or terms, when used in this Chapter shall have the following meaning, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise:"Bureau" means the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation."Director" means the Director of the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation."CLEET" means the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training."Item(s)" means weapons or vehicles to be leased by OSBI to State and local law enforcement agencies."Law enforcement agency" means any public body charged with enforcing state or local criminal laws and initiating criminal prosecutions including, but not limited to police departments, county sheriffs, the Oklahoma Department of Public Safety, the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics and Dangerous Drugs Control, and the Alcohol Beverage Law Enforcement Commission."Leasing agencies" means State and local law enforcement agencies leasing vehicles or weapons from the OSBI."OSBI" means the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation."VIN" means vehicle identification number.
