SECTION 377:10-13-10. Personnel policy

- (a) The facility shall have written personnel policy and procedure. The facility's policy shall include the following subjects:(1) organizational charts;(2) recruitment and promotion, including equal employment opportunity provisions;(3) job descriptions and qualifications, including salary determinations and physical fitness policy;(4) fitness policy;(5) benefits, holidays, leave, and work hours;(6) personnel records and employee evaluation;(7) retirement, resignation, and termination;(8) employee-management relations, including disciplinary procedures, and grievance and appeals procedures;(9) statutes relating to political activities;(10) insurance/professional liability requirements;(11) prohibitions against sexual harassment; and(12) drug-free workplace and drug and alcohol testing;(13) confidentiality of information concerning juveniles; and(14) employee assistance program.(b) A personnel policy manual shall be available to each employee.
