SECTION 390:30-1-3. Statutory requirements and fees

- (a) Every canine team in the state trained to detect controlled dangerous substances shall be certified, by test, in the detection of such controlled dangerous substances and shall be recertified annually so long as the canine team is used for such detection purposes. The certification test and annual recertification test provisions of this section shall not be applicable to canine teams that are owned by a law enforcement agency and that are certified and annually recertified in the detection of controlled dangerous substances by the United State Custom Service.(b) Each application shall be accompanied by the required fee established in 70 O.S. Section 3311 (L) before the tests are given. These fees are non-refundable.(c) Payment must be in a form specified in CLEET Rule 390:1-1-13. Checks and money orders should be made payable to CLEET.
