SECTION 390:40-5-2. Instructor training requirements

- Prior to making application with CLEET as an approved instructor, applicants will be required to attend a firearms instructor school meeting the following minimum requirements:(1) Firearms instructor training conducted by one of the following:(A) CLEET;(B) National Rifle Association;(C) Oklahoma Rifle Association(D) federal law enforcement agencies; or(E) other professionally recognized organizations.(2) course shall be at least sixteen (16) hours in length;(3) upon completion of course, be qualified to instruct in revolver, semi-automatic pistol, or both; and(4) receive a course completion certificate.
