SECTION 435:55-3-7. Grandfather clause

- Any person practicing full time during the period of November 1, 1998 through October 31, 2001 in an orthotic prosthetic facility as an orthotist and/or prosthetist may file an application for licensure prior to January 30, 2002 for permission to continue practice at his or her identified level of practice as set out in Title 59 O.S., Section 3006 (F). The applicant must provide:(1) a detailed description of work history and proof of a high school diploma or equivalent; or(2) verifiable proof of active certification as an Orthotist and/or Prosthetist by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics and Prosthetics or by the Board for Orthotist Prosthetist Certification.
