SECTION 450:18-13-83. Non-medical withdrawal management, discharge criteria

(a)   Programmatic discharge from non-medical withdrawal management shall be determined according to 450:18-7-121. These criteria shall be a part of the program's written policy and procedures.

(b)   Compliance with 450:18-13-83 may be determined by a review of the following:

(1)   Policies and procedures;

(2)   Discharge evaluation assessment instruments;

(3)   Medical evaluations;

(4)   Consumer records and discharge summaries;

(5)   Continuing care plans;

(6)   Interviews with staff and consumers; and

(7)   Other facility documentation.
