SECTION 450:24-3-62. Ambulatory withdrawal management services without extended on-site monitoring staffing

- (a) A licensed physician providing supervision of withdrawal management shall be on site or on call during hours of operation;(b) Staff members shall be knowledgeable about the physical signs of withdrawal, the taking of vital signs, the implication of those vital signs, and emergency procedures.(c) Oklahoma licensed nurses (RN's and LPN's as appropriate) shall provide on-site monitoring, and statutorily approved personnel shall administer medications in accordance with physician's orders;(d) Staff shall be knowledgeable regarding facility-required education, evidenced based practices, training and policies; and(e) The facility shall document in personnel records all education, training and experience stated in (b), (c) and (d) above prior to staff providing direct care services.
