SECTION 450:60-25-2. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV), and Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS)

- (a) The facility shall have a policy of non-discrimination against persons with HIV infection or AIDS.(b) All facilities shall observe the Universal Precautions For Transmission of Infectious Diseases as set forth in, "Occupational Exposure to Bloodborne Pathogens" published by the (U.S.) Occupations Safety Health Administration [OSHA]; and(1) There shall be written documentation the aforestated Universal(2) Inservice training regarding the Universal Precautions shall be a part of employee orientation and, at least once per year, is included in employee inservice training.
