SECTION 490:1-5-8. Reporting

- (a) The Board shall report final adverse actions to the National Practitioner Data Bank (NPDB), formerly the Healthcare Integrity and Protection Data Bank (HIPDB), in accordance with requirements at Title 45, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 60.(b) Disciplinary action taken against a license/certificate holder and reported to the NPDB shall be reported on the registry as provided in 63 O.S. §330.64.(c) If the Board has knowledge that the license/certificate holder is licensed or certified as a long term care administrator in any other legal jurisdiction(s) and/or if the Board has knowledge that this person holds other professional license(s) or certification(s), the Board may report disciplinary action taken against this person to all appropriate state licensing authorities, federal regulatory authorities and professional certification organizations.(d) Referrals may be made to law enforcement authorities, the State's Medicaid Fraud and Abuse authorities, Adult Protective Services, the State's Ombudsman, or any other licensing or regulatory entity.
