SECTION 50:1-7-4. Jurisdiction

- (a) The Board exercises jurisdiction over bodies willed or donated to the Board or the Board's Agent, medical, dental or chiropractic schools, or other donees authorized by the Oklahoma Uniform Anatomical Gift Act. The Board also exercises jurisdiction over individuals, corporations, associations, institutions, research organizations, or other legal entities authorized by the Oklahoma Uniform Anatomical Gift Act to receive whole bodies or body parts.(b) The Board lacks jurisdiction over:(1) parts of human bodies used for transplantation or other direct medical therapy;(2) skeletal material or other prepared specimens obtained from commercial sources; and(3) individuals in possession of parts or skeletal material or specimens described in subparagraphs (A) and (B) of this paragraph.
