SECTION 585:2-3-1. PERB Board, description and powers; hearing officer

  • (a)   The Board is an administrative body created by 11 O.S., §51-104. The Board consists of five (5) members, and whose powers and duties are prescribed by the Legislature.
    The Board has an Administrator to carry out certain designated functions of the Board, including, but not limited to, conducting representation elections.
    (b)   The Board may appoint a hearing officer to carry out functions of the Board including, but not limited to, conducting representation elections and unfair labor practice charge hearings.
    (c)   The Board, on its own motion, may initiate actions when the Board determines that it is necessary to do so in order to accomplish the objectives and to carry out the duties prescribed by the FPAA.
