SECTION 655:1-1-4. Office hours; filing hours

(a)   Office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with the exception of legal holidays.

(b)   Except as otherwise specifically provided in this Title, all documents for filing in the Office of the Secretary of State must be presented by 4:30 p.m. Documents presented after 4:30 p.m. and before 5:00 p.m. will not be processed until the following working day, except when otherwise stated in other chapters of this Title. If the documents are found to be acceptable for filing, the date of receipt by this Office will be the filing date of the document. Determination of name availability will be made in the order a document is processed by the Business Division which may not be the date of its receipt in the office.
