SECTION 655:20-1-3. Reservation of corporate, limited partnership, limited liability company names and trade names

(a)   A name may be reserved for a period of sixty (60) days for a fee of $10.00. (18 O.S., Sections 1142, 2055 and 54 O.S., Section 304) A name is reserved for a full sixty (60) days beginning the day after the reservation is filed. If the name of the applicant listed on the reservation does not appear in the documents presented for filing, a copy of the name reservation must accompany the documents.

(b)   A name reservation must be a written request by letter or an application form provided by this office. The name reservation, signed by the applicant, shall include the proposed name to be reserved, type of proposed entity, and the applicant's name and mailing address.

(c)   A name reservation will be processed the date of receipt.
