SECTION 690:1-1-5. Application of the Act and Rules of the Board

- The provisions of the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Licensing Act (59 O.S. 1601. et. seq., as amended) and the rules of this Title apply:(1) to all individuals representing themselves as speech-language pathologists or audiologists or using related titles as set forth in Section 1603 of the Act or who provide speech-language pathology or audiology services and who are not specifically exempted under Section 1604 of the Act;(2) to persons exempted from licensure under Section 1604 when those persons provide speech-language pathology or audiology services in circumstances other than those listed in Section 1604;(3) to OBESPA licensees regardless of whether they practice under circumstances exempt from licensure under Section 1604;(4) to all speech-language pathology applicants who are in the process of fulfilling the post-graduate supervised clinical work experience requirement and(5) to all individuals representing themselves as speech-language pathology or audiology assistants or who assist with the provision of speech-language pathology and audiology services and are not exempt from licensure pursuant to Section 1604.
