SECTION 725:15-19-2. Definitions

  •   The following words or terms when used in this subchapter shall have the following meaning unless context clearly indicates otherwise:
    "Applicant" means the entity making request or application for funds.
    "Commission" means the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Commission.
    "Category 1" means projects that involve the addition of permanent product development facilities such as trails, picnic facilities and amphitheaters.
    "Category 2" means promotions, periodic events or one-time special events such as strawberry festivals, kolache festivals, etc.
    "Department" means the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department.
    "Factor" means an element considered in determining the impact of a project and the project's worthiness for funding.
    "Fiscal year" means the twelve (12) month period extending from July 1st through June 30th.
    "Merits of the Project" means the principal standard of review and project selection for this program. This shall consist of the relative benefit to the citizens and visitors to the State of Oklahoma compared to the cost.
    "Program" means the overall process of making funds available through the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Product Development, Promotion and Events Funding Criteria.
    "Project" means the purpose for which an applicant requests funds under this program.
    "Recipient" means applicant that receives award of funding through the program.
