- Supervision and technical assistance for High Schools That WorkThe Department will coordinate the High Schools That Work initiative to help schools embed college- and career-readiness academic standards into instruction and produce graduates who can succeed in postsecondary studies and careers in high-demand, high-skill, high-wage fields. The Department will coordinate with the Southern Regional Educational Board and other entities to organize professional development sessions on topics such as numeracy, literacy and using data for continuous school improvement.
