SECTION 785:55-7-1. Authority and purpose

- (a) Authority. These rules are promulgated and adopted pursuant to and as authorized by 82 O.S. Supp. 2004, §1085.2 and 82 O.S. Supp. 2004, §§1603, 1604, 1620 and 1620.1, as amended.(b) Purpose. The purpose of this program is to provide a procedure for accrediting floodplain administrators and to assure that persons responsible for important economic decisions affecting health, safety and welfare of the State receive annual training to assist them in managing development in floodplains.
