SECTION 800:15-7-2. License and fee requirements

  License provisions pertaining to the commercial harvest of freshwater mussels shall be in accordance with 29 O. S., Section 4-129 and the following:

(1)   Each mussel harvester must retain said permit on his/her person at all times while harvesting, transporting, and selling mussels. No mussel harvester shall transport mussels out of the State of Oklahoma. All mussels commercially harvested from the waters of Oklahoma must be sold within the state to a commercial mussel dealer licensed to purchase mussels in Oklahoma. All commercial mussel harvesters must keep for a period of one year a receipt of each mussel sale transaction which will be available at any time for inspection by an agent of the Department.

(2)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation licensed as a commercial mussel dealer to purchase mussels in Oklahoma from any person who does not have a valid commercial mussel harvester permit.
