  •   Whereas, the black-footed ferret is ecologically dependent upon colonies of prairie dogs for survival and the prairie dog is in danger of eradication on some private lands in Oklahoma, black-footed ferrets may not be killed by any means in the State of Oklahoma and prairie dogs may not be killed by any means except rifle, shotguns, handguns, and bows and arrows. Prairie dogs may be controlled with the use of poisons subject to the provisions of this Subchapter.
