SECTION 800:25-5-2. Hunting dates, bag and possession limits for migratory birds

  • (a)   The provision of 50 CFR 20, Subparts A-J governing the hunting, taking, possession and transportation of migratory birds are hereby incorporated by reference.
    (b)   The annual federal hunting seasons, options for season length, and daily bag and possession limits will be published annually in the Federal Register and are hereby incorporated by reference. The specific issue of the Federal Register will be available at the offices of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation at 1801 N. Lincoln Blvd.
    (c)   The annual hunting season date and bag and possession limits for the state of Oklahoma will be published annually in the Federal Register and are hereby incorporated by reference. The specific issue of the Federal Register will be available at the offices of the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation at 1801 N. Lincoln Blvd.
    (d)   The Oklahoma rules governing the hunting, taking, possession, and transportation of migratory birds, including the hunting seasons, hunting areas, possession and bag limits, shall be published annually in a booklet entitled Oklahoma Hunting Regulations. The booklet shall be readily available for distribution to the general public.

EDITOR’S NOTE: This emergency action expired before being superseded by a permanent action. Upon expiration of an emergency amendatory action, the last prior permanent text is reinstated. Therefore, on 7-15-96 (after the 7-14-96 expiration of the emergency action), the text of Section 800:25-5-2 reverted back to the permanent text that became effective 6-12-95, and remained as such until amended by permanent action on 8-26-96.
EDITOR’S NOTE: This emergency action expired on 3-9-97, pursuant to the expiration date stated by the agency in the preamble of the emergency rule document approved by the Governor, as published at 14 Ok Reg 391. Upon expiration of an emergency amendatory action, the last prior permanent text is reinstated. Therefore, on 3-10-97 (after the 3-9-97 expiration of the emergency action), the text of Section 800:25-5-2 reverted back to the permanent text that became effective 8-26-96, as was last published in the 1996 Edition of the OAC, and remained as such until amended by permanent action on 7-25-97.
