SECTION 92:1-9-3. Notice of hearing

The Commission Administrator or prosecuting attorney shall send a copy of the Complaint and Notice of Hearing to the Respondent. The Notice of Hearing shall include the date, time and place of the hearing. The hearing shall be scheduled at least fifteen (15) days after the date of service of the Complaint. Both parties may agree to an earlier date. If a specific law requires a hearing in fewer days, that statute shall be followed. If an emergency exists, a hearing may be conducted without the filing of a Complaint and without the fifteen (15) day notice.
