Editor's Note: Effective 7-1-14, "the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation [was] placed under the authority of the Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability" and "[t]he rules of the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation that [were] in effect on July 1, 2014, [were] enforceable by the Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability until the Commission establishe[d] rules" [Laws 2012, c. 223, § 3(A) and (F)]. Therefore, the rules in this Title 712 that were in effect on 7-1-14 (i.e., the rules that were published in the 2011 Edition of the OAC, as updated by the rules published in the 2013 OAC Supplement, and republished in the 2014 and 2015 Supplements) were considered to be the rules of the Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability until the Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability promulgated its own rules in Title 218, effective 9-11-15. [Note that the amendments to Section 712:10-5-1, which were promulgated by the Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation at 31 Ok Reg 2456 and were scheduled to become effective on 9-12-14 (after the 7-1-14 transfer of authority), were not codified and are not considered to be part of the rules of the Commission for Educational Quality and Accountability.]
