SECTION 252:515-11-31. Liner construction standards

- (a) MSWLFs, NHIW landfills and other land disposal facilities. The reconstructed clay liner portion of the composite liner system must:(1) be at least two feet thick with a hydraulic conductivity no greater than 1.0 x 10-7 cm/sec; and(2) meet the requirements of and be constructed in accordance with this Part and the approved QA/QC plan.(b) C&D landfills. A reconstructed clay liner installed at a C&D landfill must:(1) be at least three feet thick with a hydraulic conductivity no greater than 1.0 x 10-5 cm/sec; and(2) meet the requirements of and be constructed in accordance with this Part and the approved QA/QC plan.
