- Boarding home care is paid at the fixed daily rate while the child in Oklahoma Department of Human Services (DHS) custody is in a foster home during school holidays or weekends, except during the summer vacation when it is paid at the monthly rate.(1) Murray County DHS is the liaison county for the School for the Deaf; and(2) Muskogee County DHS is the liaison county for the School for the Blind.(A) The primary child welfare (CW) specialist is responsible for notifying Muskogee or Murray County, as appropriate, of the child's placement and the need for assigning a secondary responsibility to the child's KIDS case.(B) All inquiries or replies to inquiries are sent to the appropriate county and not directly to the respective school.
