SECTION 75:15-9-2. Program management, policies and procedures

- (a) The agency shall maintain written policies and procedures that describe each program service component, the rules clients are expected to follow for each component and staff or volunteer duties. Policies shall include but are not limited to:(1) Physical punishment of children shall not be allowed;(2) Length of stay limitations, if any; and(3) Participation in housekeeping, food preparation or other activities, if applicable.(b) Clients shall be given a copy of program rules and the provision of such shall be documented in the client record.(c) The program shall have a written policy of the intent to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.(d) Compliance with 75:15-9-2 shall be determined by a review of the program's written policies and procedures; rules; client interviews and record documentation.
